WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrows, or feathering, is a form of permanent makeup that artistically enhances the overall appearance of the eyebrow to mimic natural-looking hair.
Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists manually apply each hair stroke into the superficial layers of the skin using a sterile and disposable handheld tool comprising of 9-14 ultra-fine needles. The technique uses color pigment formulated to match your original eyebrow shade and blends perfectly into your natural eyebrows once healed.
Microblading lasts approximately 6-18 months before a color boost is recommended.
WHAT ARE OMBRÉ BROWS?
The Ombré  “Powder Eyebrow” is a cosmetic tattoo shading technique that creates an ombré appearance beginning darker at the tails of the brows and moving lighter into the center of the brows.
Unlike Microblading, which uses a manual handheld tool to create individual hair strokes, the Ombré Brow method uses a digital handheld machine to produce micro pixilated dots throughout the brows for a subtle, powdered in, makeup finish.
Ombré Brows are ideal for all skin types, especially oily skin. This technique is recommended for anyone looking to achieve a fuller result than microbladed hair strokes and perfect for those who want a bolder look that can totally replace makeup. This technique is 100% customizable and the results are waterproof, smudge-proof and natural-looking!
The Ombré Brow technique lasts approximately 2-5 years before a color boost is recommended.
WHAT ARE COMBO BROWS?
Combo Brows is the ultimate brow treatment that combines Microblading and Ombré Brows. The Combo Brows treatment offers the best of both the hair stroke and ombré effect to achieve fuller brows. This technique is 100% customizable and great for clients who prefer a more defined look or who have minimal natural brow hair.
The Combo Brow technique lasts approximately 2-5 years before a color boost is recommended.
If you are unsure which eyebrow treatment is best for you,  you can book an appointment for Combo Brows. We can then assess your brows during your initial appointment and change the service the day of if necessary.
TWO-APPOINTMENT PROCESS
All eyebrow treatments are a two-appointment process. Your touch-up appointment will be scheduled for approximately 6-12 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows enough time for the pigment in the epidermis to properly heal so we can assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary.
Results vary per person and can only be determined once the skin has fully healed. The pigment will lighten 30-60% during the healing process and certain hair strokes may completely disappear and seem patchy. This is completely normal and the reason for the touch-up. Skin cells also turn over more frequently on oilier skin types causing the color to fade quicker than drier skin types. Those with oilier skin types should consider the Ombre or Combo technique and may require more frequent touch ups.
All eyebrow techniques will fade over time and once faded 60% or more, a Color Boost (single appointment) is recommended to keep them looking fresh. Every client retains pigment differently based on skin type, age, sun exposure, daily routine, etc. If you choose to not do a color boost and let your brows fade out completely, traces of pigment can remain in the skin for an average of 5 years.

THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please allow 2-3 hours for all appointments.

THE CONSULTATION
A full consultation is carried out during the initial appointment and heavy emphasis is placed on understanding your expectations.
All clients are required to fill out a health history form to prior to ensure your skin is in good condition before beginning treatment.
You may come with your eyebrows filled in so we can take into consideration the shape you feel most comfortable with.
If you have an ideal shape and color in mind, please bring a couple reference photos to your appointment.
BEFORE PHOTOGRAPHS
We photograph our work before and after the treatment for many reasons including client records and insurance.
Before and after photographs are also necessary to asses your healed results during the perfecting session.
We respect the privacy of our clients and will not use photos on social media without your consent.

EYEBROW SHAPING/CLIENT APPROVAL
Shaping the eyebrows correctly is the foundation for achieving perfect eyebrows.
We will use a waterproof pencil to draw the initial measurements and customize the shape to fit your facial features.
We do not move forward with the treatment until receiving your approval of the design.
NUMBING
Topical anesthetics are used to numb the area that is being treated and will be allowed to absorb into the skin for 25 minutes.
There can be minor discomfort even after the topical anesthetic has been used, but most clients report feeling little to no pain.
During this time we will go over the after-care instructions and healing process with you.

MICROBLADING/OMBRE BROWS/COMBO BROWS
During the Microblading process, your artist will create microstrokes using a handheld tool to implant the pigment into your skin.
During the Ombré process, your artist will use a digital handheld machine to implant the pigment into your skin.
This part of the process takes anywhere form 30-60 minutes to complete, depending on the amount of work that is needed.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE
We remove excess pigment from the treated area, take after photographs, and apply a barrier cream to your new brows.
Your touch-up appointment will be scheduled for 6-12 weeks later.
